#2Expect a work stoppage in Mlb after this season.
Cba is up on December 1, and Mlb with limited capacity is going to have dramatic effect on cash flow. Some teams worse off than othersComment -

#3NFL cap is down 2021 $20mm per team ($180m)
NBA down to $105mm per team from $116
MLB every club lost over $25mm last year by playing, the owners will have to lick out the players unless there is headwinds made w this modified CBA going into the already delayed 2021 seasonComment -

#9The salaries are never going down if we keep watching/supporting a crappy tv product. Viewership has to go down tremendously for lower salaries. NCAA football, the NBA bubble, and MLB were atrocious to watch, but we ate it up because it was live contentComment -

#17Pittsburgh Pirates as a team are going to head into the season most likely with an entire team payroll of the less than the top 10 MLB players
it's criminal. They should be kicked out of the league, let their cheapskate owner be a AA team owner if he refuses to use the welfare $ that MLB already gives himComment -

#20So the NBA has an agreement that basically levels out free agency year by year meaning the cap us lowered of course but its also artificially propped up higher than it should be to stabilize free agency and avoid 200 1 year contracts.
Next, the NBA pays on an escrow system now, holding back 80% of players salaries till year end, which helps owners cash flow
Lastly, look for the cap to drop again next year and perhaps simply just not rise for the foreseeable future unless a big money deal w China or an expansion team comes into the league.
I fully expect MLB to add 2 teams in the next 36 months to compensate ownership for the lossesComment -
