| 02/01 07:08 PM PST College Basketball GAME #641-642 The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the next three Florida State men’s basketball games – at Boston College, at Pittsburgh and at Virginia Tech – have been postponed. The games were scheduled to be played on Tuesday, February 2, Saturday, February 6 and Tuesday, February 9. The postponement follows a positive test, subsequent quarantining, and contact tracing within the Florida State men’s basketball program. Further updates and schedule adjustments by the ACC will be announced at a later date. |

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. --- North Carolina head coach Roy Williams said that he has been asked often over the last week about whether or not the ACC should play its conference tournament this season. The event is scheduled for March 9-13 in the Greensboro Coliseum. The NCAA Tournament will start the following week.
The idea of potentially canceling the ACC Tournament is about playing games that aren't necessary for the season or the NCAA Tournament.
"I have several feelings off the top of my head," Williams said when asked about whether the conference should play the ACC Tournament. "Do you know what opting out means? It means you freakin' quit. Whether it's a team or an individual, opting out means you quit. And that bothers me."Comment -

Why not just start quarantining a few days before the conference tourney and then continue to quarantine/bubble during the conference tourney all the way through the NCAA’s?
They all travel to tourney on private plane. I don’t see what’s so hard about it. Most of players are taking classes on zoom anyways.Comment -
It's different for you ...you are in a different risk category because of your weight and age. If it were up to you I'm sure you would have the coaches and players defy the orders, or just move out of the state their college is located in, as a sign of protest.
Just sit tight... there will be games, your whining and crying won't help expedite anyting. I still have a room available up here in Canada if your butt is still Painful and your feelings are still hurt.
