2 lives taken and 2 lives completely ruined. Can't imagine being a parent and seeing your kid hit and on someone's hood, then run over and then the offender takes off. I'd be at any court appearance waiting for my street justice moment.

I wouldn't assume that.

from Costa Rica's or any countries perspective, they don't care that you have been vaccinated and fight it off easier. That's great for you, but might not mean jack shit for their citizens

you have a stronger immune response to fight the infection once it is in you, with the vaccine, but it's not a force field. It doesn't prevent you from acquiring the virus. It just makes it unlikely you'll get hospitalized or dead.

I imagine Governments will err on the side of caution and make everyone continue to jump through the hoops and assume the virus can be passed along through an unsuspecting vaccinated person.

I'm dealing with the same issue as our Patagonia backpacking trip comes up this spring. It's looking bleak
