What took so long? You coach at Texas and win or your gone. It's that simple.

Well there is the little matter of $25 million they have to pay out.

That's pocket change for the Texas football booster club.

Coughing up $25 million just for a football coach is not that easy. Especially when they have already done it three times. It was close enough to do again.

What do programs expect out of coaches? lol Going through a Covid situation.... piecing together a season practically. I don't get it? I thought Herman did a decent job.

Um... anyone remember the Detroit Lions firing Jim Caldwell? I believe he made the playoffs twice... and really was the only Lions head coach in a long long long time that had decent seasons. Give me a fukking break. lol You replace him.... and it's a BUST.

They replace Herman with a Alabama coordinator. 4 years from now we will be having the same conversation.

LOL. The PR for this hire is a disaster. People cannot believe how stupid Texas is.

I'm not sure Sarkisian makes it through this. He may have to back out.

Another team who thinks they are a way bigger fish than they actually are. I could see canning him to hire urban Meyer but not an offensive coordinator

                              Meyer turned them down?
I agree, the TX job is not what it used to be

Yeah he did turn them down, but he’s an obvious upgrade. This feels like a lateral move

"What Harbaugh hasn’t done is beat Ohio State at all or Michigan State enough. He hasn’t won a Big Ten East title, played in the Big Ten championship game or reached the College Football Playoff.
