Anything is possible but the wolves have an incentive to make people think a lot of teams want the first pick to drive the picks value up, I don’t see them likely trading it, teams have to likely figure ball will be available at 3 if they want him that badly for some reason

it's been discussed at length in various NBA media that both the Wolves and Warriors would ideally like to either trade down or preferably out of the 1st round entirely in exchange for proven players, especially the Warriors. but all front offices have known that for a while and it seems like no one's looking to do either team that favor.. there just hasn't been any signs that either team has made any traction in that regard

Warriors best two assets are the #2 pick this year plus the Wolves' partially-protected 1st next year, but it doesn't seem like they're willing to part with that Wolves pick which is probably smart. of course they would for a player like Giannis or Simmons, but Giannis is definitely off the table for now and Morey would ask far more for Simmons since he'd have to take Wiggins back in return. i think the Warriors would have to also throw in one of their own future post-Curry/Klay unprotected 1st's to get Morey to even listen at this point

bottom line, i don't think the Wolves or Warriors will be happy at all if they're left to pick at 1 and 2 respectively tmrw

what a mess this has turned into... Edwards doesn't want to play in Minny and thus they don't want him either, Wolves have no use for Wiseman because of KAT and the two sides haven't even engaged, and the Wolves are scared to take Melo at #1 which is understandable

Saw Anthony Edwards live and wasn’t that impressed but I’m no scout and don’t know much about the other guys. Edwards doesn’t even want to play basketball. Wiseman might be decent value at +600 but hate betting on mostly predetermined shit like this and award shows. Someone or someones already knows who’s going first. Based on odds seems like it’s Edwards and everything else is sucker bet.
