Not necessarily, there are many combinations where that wouldn't apply and with a team like the Dodgers who can put up 12 in a run for a win, they could win one game 12-2 and lose the next two games 6-2, 7-3 and the Dodgers have more runs but less wins.

The way they break games open, it's bound to happen once and all it takes is once to skew the score/series winner ratio.

the 1960 yankees scored 55 runs in the world series, and the Pirates only scored 27, but they won the trophy.
