Yeah I agree with you Cleveland isn’t very good, but they were just humiliated by the Steelers. Burrow looks good and the Bengals offense has looked good in almost every game except Baltimore.

I don’t want to bet against a Cleveland team that was completely humiliated even though I agree with you that Cleveland isn’t that good.

I didn’t see the number yet but this Bengals team should be a good over team, underrated offense and not much defense. Burrow should get better as the year goes on.

I'm very skeptical about 'emotional' angles in general. They got humiliated because they aren't very good. Does this make them more likely to win the next game? I think not. Same way I could argue now Cleveland has 5% chance to win the division and 10% to make the playoffs, and this makes them more likely 'to quit' and go on a losing streak especially with all the injuries.

Cincinnati has vested interest in losing close games in the end. I also don't believe 'tanking' exists but this team could be pure gold getting points. I have to see more stats but unless Bengals OLine is bottom 5 and Steelers OLine is top 5 so far (unless dropoff is really really big for Cleveland's defense to face), I think +3.5 won't last very long and going back to +4.5 would surprise me more than +3 or even +2.5 later in the week.

I agree with you that the line is more likely to move up then down, mayfield sucks but the Bengals defense is bad and they have stretches where they can’t get any stops.

I don’t agree with you that the Bengals want to lose to get a higher draft pick, I think they’d rather see their young players get better and have some momentum going into next season since obviously they won’t draft a qb.

My initial lean is that the over will have some value because of how bad the Bengals defense is.
