I cannot see SD scoring 4 runs for entire game

    Dodgers should get 5

    5-2???

Did you notice that yesterday each game had a team that scored exactly 5 points?

I'm passing on the Kershaw fade trade, as of this writing, but did take the UNDER in TB/NYY.

If he's on the mound he can lose.

That's what I came up with.

Wait, are we talking baseball still?

Cuz I'm just saying, getting on some mounds makes you an automatic winner.

              Amirite?

The padres hitters are successful in creating an elevated pitch count in the early innings.

I like the OVER 8.5. Both teams have the bats and I think the Dodgers put up some runs against Davies.

Last week, in Game 2 of the Dodgers-Brewers National League Wild Card Series, Clayton Kershaw put up one of his best postseason performances \-\- one of the best, really, in Dodgers history. Kershaw carved up the Brewers offense, striking out 13 over eight scoreless innings while walking only one and

I've been cashing Padre Overs the whole way. They have some sticks!! Let me find Hitter vs Pitcher with Kershaw and add that

Thing is I got 8.5 Over big with the NYY/Tampa game so going to see how that looks first. Hit the Live A's Over in the 5th!!! Lot of runs this postseason

Padres hitters career numbers vs Kershaw:

                      Wil Myers 5-40 (.125)
                      Eric Hosmer 9-27 (.333) 1 hr
                      Manny Mercado 5-18 (.278) 2 hrs
                      Fernando Tatis Jr 3-8 (.375)
                      Pham 0-4

So Hosmer, Mercado, and Tatis combined for 17-53 (.321) 3 hrs, but Myers has been owned by CK

Davies #s vs LA on the way

Only Dodgers with 10+ atbats vs Davies:

                          Justin Turner 7-20 (.350) 1 hr
                          Cody Bellinger 5-14 (.357) 1 hr
                          Corey Seager 3-20 (.150) 1 hr

Not much to go off of, but I always underrate Davies because he doesn't throw hard. I still think LA can look offspeed and still make contact on his 91 mph fastball. Playing Over for something....just don't know how much yet

I'll give you 2 good reasons JJ - Kershaw has choked in the playoffs before and this is a rebound game after a loss for the Padres..

Still not wise to bet against Kershaw and these Dodgers..

It's an interesting point for sure. It's more like a playoffs during midseason.

That's new for everyone but the season long toll pitching takes on a pitcher is pretty signifcant. Even with the no rest blitz of playoff games, they still have only played around 40% of a season.
