Mini write-up for this game: I can see the Blues winning a tight one in Overtime.
Possible outcomes betting it this way =
1) up +3.821 for hitting the bullseye, or
2) lose -0.030 if Blues win in regulation, or
3) +1.850 if Minnesota wins in Overtime, or
4) -2.000 units if Minn wins in regulation.
STL goalie Binnington has played great in his last 2 appearances, allowing 2 goals combined in 90+ minutes of time on ice (one was a relief appearance). He holds a 3-1 career record vs the Minnesota Wild, including a perfect 3-0 at home.
MINN goalie Kahkonen on the other hand has not made a start since March 31, so perhaps he is fresher, but this will be his first appearance vs St.Louis
As a team, St.Louis showed their desire last game against Vegas and I liked how they played. Their home W/L record is 5-9-4 on the season coming into this game, and in division sitting in 5th place with only 17 games remaining on the shortened season. Their remaining schedule has a brutal amount of games against division-leading Colorado, and 3rd place Minnesota, so the time is now to rack up the points and make a playoff push.
