I am not betting on this game and I have also not followed hockey after the break. However I am not a fan of the "due betting angle".

Miami Heat swept Indiana, Boston swept Sixers, Toronto swept Brooklyn in the NBA. Wasn't any of these teams due to at least win one game? Now or never and they all got swept.

How often do MLB teams lose 8+ games in a row or are 1-9 L10? Happens quite often actually. Aren't they due for a win after a few losses? They are, yet they continue to lose.

Dallas is now 6-0 against Colorado. Maybe Avs simply don't match up well with Dallas, maybe Avs crushing the lowly Coyotes made them look stronger than they are.

I also think that Colorado gets it done today as they do have enough offensive weapons. But laying -150 solely because they are due doesn't work for me. It may work this time, it may work the next couples of times. But long term you'll lose your ass betting on teams because they are due.
