Two hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico?

There have never been two simultaneous hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico since weather record began.

Will this be the first time ever?

If not, this will still be the first time since 1933 that there has been 2 tropical storms in the Gulf.

• Hurricane 11 (Hurricane 11 weakened to a tropical storm after crossing the Florida Peninsula and briefly entered the Gulf of Mexico near Cedar Key, Florida)
• Overlap was very brief, about 4 hours

make the trip over to h-town, and we'll get a keg for the back of my truck, and make the rounds......

Second one is going to take the same path and hit the same location Wednesday..
