you always have an open invitation to come down and knock back a few cold ones, cruise the farm/ranch, even light up the sky with some tracers after the sun goes down if we decide we want to disrupt the peace for a little while......
some of the best salt water fishin' in the world is only 20 mins away, and world class white-tailed bucks are only a five minute ride to the back of ranch, which nestles up against the Nueces River........
and the asses that were prancin' around in scrunch back bikinis -- despite the KUNG FLU -- on north padre last weekend when I was down there fishin' were a sight to see......

yes, that fish on the right is what you thought it was (dennis green-like there), a MOTHER FUKKIN 24" SPECKLED TROUT...........

pss.... JJ, and Diggity, these are two other fish that are abundant down in the north padre surf:
first, the always tasty cousin of the redfish, known as black drum:
and second, the hardest fighting fish known to the gulf of mexico, pound for pound, the jack.........
this 8-pound jack is on the small end of how big these badboys can get, and if bled out (why I chopped his tail immediately after catching it), can be quite good table fair when baked with Old Bay Seasoning and butter.....
all in all, not a bad day in the surf when you catch twenty plus fish in the surf on n. padre when scrunch backs frolic near by in the sand.......Comment -

wife and I are in the process of finding/purchasing a beach house on n. padre island...... may have to do a bbq/skeet shoot at the farm, then have limos take us to n. padre island for a weekend of total debauchery, between the beachhouse and a floor of condos at the nearby Beach Club Condos or -- get this -- The Waves Resort........
