Are you now saying ,wait for years to see the long term effects ? People are living through this , you can't shutdown to wait years to see how the body is actually impacted by covid .
Get outside man , this isn't going away , no way to actual eliminate it. Commerce alone with keep it going . People need to live their life .
As for NCAAF , oh well , but hell with staying home "until this goes away " . It's not going shit !
why are players united on requesting safety protocols then??

shouldn't you be tweeting at trevor lawrence and justin fields, Big Boy ???

This isnt going away , even by Fauci comments .
Its here to stay , plus the miracle vaccine isn't the end all even by him . So where does that leave us ?
Stay inside forever or move the fukk on ?
As for college football , they can cancel it . It'll just drive cancellation of other sports that football provides money to .
But literally college age kids / athletes, this virus isn't killing them . End of story !! Not by me but by the CDC numbers .
Teenagers, college kids are around each other daily .
I have two whom haven't missed a beat, like hundreds of thousands of others daily that are around each other , on the river , parties and living life .
Numbers don't matter once politics come in to play and politics was in this as soon as it happened .

Rutgers killed it. They had what 28 guys get it in the middle of August. In October, this stuff is going to go wild. Bigger part is it will do you permanent damage even if you do not get a bad case of it. It can still screw up your lungs and heart and you can do that with pro players but it does not work with college when they are playing for free.

They were hoping it would all just go away like everyone else has been doing. It didn't.

I almost wish they would play just because it would be such a disaster. Way worse than bowl games. You bet Michigan and then find out on game day that 8 starters are out with Covid.

syracuse and pittsburgh skipped practice over virus concerns. florida state players expressing concerns.

so far, not a peep out of the SEC and the BIG 12 so that conference has "them boys" hushed up real good and just going about "they bizness"

                                      ya dig ??

The NCAA really put pressure on the holdouts by cancelling everything they could yesterday, which is all championships except the college football playoff. So if these conferences want to proceed with other sports, their teams will be trying to win the conference only.

So, if we have a bad flu/covid season and CFB panics, everybody is going to come out of the woodwork to say it was a stupid idea to try to play. I don't want those people to be able to free-roll this. Pick a side now, all the would-be pile on-ers need to have some skin in the game.

On that note, what has changed? They are generating a lot of confidence now, in September when Nov-Feb are supposed to be the tough months. Real question I have been following this. Also, I know CFB ends in January.

Good to see landers has grown half a brain cell. Bet both sides, only lose the juice. Far better than him losing all his rent money in one shot

So the Big 10+4 has decided to play a half-ass 8 plus 1 schedule. The plus one is a crossover game based on the finishes of the teams in their divisions. 1 plays 1. 2 plays 2. etc... We know that 6 of the 8 games will be against divisional rivals. That leaves the question of which two will be cross divisional games. You can bet that Ohio State gets and Penn State get real easy crossover games so the winner of that game can go 9-0 and claim a spot in the College Playoff. What a crap way of doing things. Some teams will try to play 12 games. Some 11. Some 10. the Big 10 will try 9. The problem with the Big 10 is that they have absolutely NO wiggle room. If a game is cancelled, it cannot be made up.
