Del Mar, which just opened July 10, will close July 17-19 due to multiple members of the jockeys' room at the California track testing positive for COVID-19.

Numbers are starting to spike again in upstate NY.
Give people an inch and they’ll take a mile. Too many people acting like its gone. Ruining it for everyone. Businesses going bankrupt because people can act like adults.

Unreal. Horse racing is about all we’ve got besides soccer. Fuk’in tracks should be do’in more to prevent this shit. If it starts running rampant with the jockeys traveling like they do, horse racing will be fuk’ed too.

no outside jockeys to be flown in for races at saratoga either
Any jockey that rides at a racetrack outside of Saratoga beginning Thursday will be considered an out-of-town jockey and will not be permitted at Saratoga. All personnel working at Saratoga Race Course in any capacity are required by NYRA to produce a negative COVID-19 test in order to access the property

they are probably hanging out with each other having some beers. Their rooms are the size of dorm rooms so if they had a few guys in there together, easy to spread

That's how it should be. Travelling all over the place is a recipe for a diaster. Pick a track until the meet is over, it's better than nothing as I bet most owners, trainers, and jockeys agree with this new protocol.

Are they Mexican?
Because Mexican dudes are notorious for being bi-sexual.

Now I know why I got roofied when I went to play pool at the Mexican bar. I made it out of there, but my legs were like Jello.

That's funny because I learned my knowledge at a Mexican bar that I used to play pool at.
The bartender is the one that filled me in, she told me to watch my drinks around them.
Lucky you got out of there when you did, Hawkeye.
