Rudy I’m 42. Been listening to buffet since junior high. His songs are all easy 3 to 4 chorders and played with a pick... I could learn to play any one perfectly in a week. I am playing this song fingerstyle without a pick. It’s much harder to learn and I’ve only been doing it for about 6 months.

As far as sitting in front of people and singing and playing buffet type songs that is easy. I played in my early 20s out at bars for about a year. Then kids and well here I am. When I retire and give it another go I want to be able to play some cool ass shit along with the buffet singalongs. When the time comes I will let you know when and where and you can come join me on stage to sing a few jingles.

I have not but that is some inspiring shit right there. Awesome technique. Finger picking is where it's at... it seriously sounds like he's got a loop pedal but he doesn't, which is why fingerstyle is so bad ass if you're that good at it.
