I just seen a report that they tested 397 homeless people in Boston where 146 of them tested positive and none of them had any symptoms.

All of the vaccines that show promise will fail in the end. This virus was made that so that no vaccine will ever work. This will never go away.

So why don't you go tell all the doctors to stop working on a vaccine then.

The fog will clear in a few months and answers will be there. Hopefully a solution?
This is only the first inning for the virus and there may be extras.

So by this logic, the regular flu was man made as well since it's also reoccurring?

No coincidence Russia & N. Korea, allies of China, aren't suffering severely from this.
They were as prepared in advance as the country who launched the attack.
Or could it be that those 2 countries are actually smart and don't allow everyone world-wide to infiltrate their country?
Hmmmm

Russia is lying but let's be real those other countries have the advantage of controlling the movement of people.
In America Tom Brady is defying lockdown 🤣

so many unanswered questions, my thinking is this virus is so deadly and contagious its too difficult to test even under controlled conditions in labs

They need to work on a vaccine, that is their job. It doesn't mean it will work.

Hard lockdown, broad testing, contract tracing. None of the things we seem willing to seriously do.

Open things up and it will hit 10x worse than what we were/are going through, and will ultimately shut everything back down for even longer.
Keep things shut down and everyone will go broke and chaos will erupt.
Can't really win whatever we decide to do.

Sophie's Choice.
But we've already chosen a course. Worst thing to do is half-ass it and waste the sacrifice already made.
I do think we can be in a better place come early to mid-June. But we gotta be ready for a resurgence come Oct/Nov. Testing and contact tracing.

Well, developing an immunity is certainly the hope!
SARS-CoV-2 (now known as COVID-19, so re-named because it was uncovered in 2019, despite what Kelly ANne Conway and Rush Limbaugh thinks https://tinyurl.com/trlot5n ) is an RNA virus and it is hoped it will ultimately behave similar to another RNA virus: the common measles...whereby once we've had it chances are high (but not 100%) we won't get reinfected, or even if we did, it wouldn't be as severe.
However, at this time med science has yet to determine if this particular virus will follow the rules.
It will take months to know this for sure.
I am hopeful. But this one is a deadly bugger and we just don't know...
As for vaccines, this is the other hope!
This would seem to be more important however than "infected immunity".
The anti-bodies we produce in our system after surviving a disease actually weakens slightly year-after-year, and our susceptibility to being reinfected increases. A vaccine actually acts similarly. It's meant to help prevent the disease in us (by stimulating antibody production). Check out on the CDC website for confirmation about success of common influenza vaccines: they start out well (though not 100% preventative) then with each passing year the same vaccine against the same virus decreases in effectiveness. But by then they develop a NEW vaccine (hopefully)
The great thing about vaccine (antibodies) as opposed to infected immunity (antibodies) is a large percentage of the population may indeed AVOID getting the painful disease in the first place! And many needless (premature) deaths can be prevented, let alone needless 2-3 week periods of being off work sick as a dog hoping to build some immunity.
Those over age 60, those with pre-existing conditions, and those healthy people (like hospital staff) who are repeatedly exposed to COVID-19 are the most vulnerable...not just the "weak" Asthma is a respiratory condition (not caused by lifestyle choices) which is particularly risky.
