Vegas will be fine. It will take some time and there will be some bumps but it will recover. There will have to make some changes made in certain areas but people will still want to get away and have fun.

You two can stay away though. Two less broke losers looking for drink tickets.

Some were saying May 1st. That isn’t happening. I could see some reopening June 1st. Big groups like mgm and Caesars will likely roll out a few property openings at a time.

mgm example-bellagio, nyny, excalibur and maybe Park mgm.
casesars example- Caesars, Linq, ballys and rio being that it is off strip will likely be a priority.

If Venetian and Wynn do some strong local offers to boost business they will succeed. People here reading how both companies paying employees throughout and maintaining their benefits where mgm and Caesars didn’t look out for most of their employees.

Construction everywhere in Vegas on and off strip. Hell, they are cleaning up and fixing crap they haven't been able to get to. Vegas will be just fine. Short term hit indeed but degens are degens, drunks are drunks, etc... they always find their way back down the hole. Probably talk record profits after they cash their bailout checks. Vegas should be most worried about the convention business.

Exactly. Not just Vegas either but everywhere. No lines for us young and healthy people. Gonna be nice. Everyone else will be too scared or too broke to go out, so there won't be a wait to do anything.

Yes, Vegas will be just fine.
Of course it will take a financial hit short term, just like 90 percent of all American industries will take a financial hit from all this, but most of them will rebound.
Vegas is disversified, it's not just all about gambling.
It's about sports, and entertainment, and a gazillion other interests you can't get in 90 percent rest of the world.
