If they have a set date, they will call ASAP. In the hospitality industry you have to worry about other places stealing your employees especially with this much down time so managers want to know where everyone is and if they're coming back ASAP. Also want to get ahead of people planning to go out of town or something.

I know the industry. Was an exec for 8 years at Venetian and Wynn. Nobody is worried about employee poaching right now. I would guess about 30% of the workers currently on furlough in industry will not have that ft job at end of 2021. Companies are going to gut their labor force even more than they did in 08.

The industry is led by people with no creativity. Very few real gambling people at top anymore. Analysts and accountants call the shots. It is why we will continue to see resort fees, paid parking, service charges etc...
