Millions of Spaniards are allowed to resume their 'non-essential' jobs as 'industrial lockdown' is lifted and lowest number of cases for 24 days is announced - while Italy prepares to open some shops tomorrow

    • Spain is allowing some factory and construction work to resume after two weeks
    • Police were handing out millions of face masks at metro stations this morning
    • Number of new infections fell to 3,477 today, the fewest in Spain since March 20

Police were handing out masks on Spanish metro trains today as some 'non-essential' workers were allowed to resume their activities after a two-week ban.

Soccer leagues in Spain and Italy likely to restart within a month then.

This will be interesting to monitor. If they have success, we will open back up sooner rather than later.

I think Europe was two (2) weeks ahead of us in their lockdowns / shelter-in-place restrictions. Hopefully, we will start having a staggered reopening of businesses here. This quarantine is brutal.

The article indicated that Denmark is opening up schools next week.

I think it's too soon to open things up anywhere.

But then again I'm not sure what to believe anymore.

Younger populations will go to work, old people stay at home.

Pretty simple solution. This is why central amery hasn't had epidemic issues....

Nicaragua still open completely, headed there in May. Young...working. Old....stay at home!

Promising.. Let's hope Corona doesn't flair up over there again and the US can use this as an example.

Denmark also shut the border down before others.
