Should the NFL postpone the draft? (put your emotions aside)

think rationally, not emotionally (what is right vs what you want). the POTUS just said the other day that the next few weeks will be painful.

if the first round of the draft is held 3 weeks from today on Thu 4/23, and a bunch of kids become instant millionaires while thousands of Americans are dying, is a bad a look for the NFL.

i want to watch the draft BADLY, more than a blind man wants to see at this point because I miss sports BADLY.

but my gut is telling me it should be postponed to June, at the earliest.

except that the GMs around the league unanimously want to postpone it but Goodell and the NFL said No.

so, some pretty important people want it postponed because they feel they need more time to evaluate the players.

The GM's are just looking for excuses. Nothing will change in April or May and there will be too much work to do in June for the NFL. No point dragging this on any further. Just do it and it over with.

Other than the boats taking the draftees to the podium in Vegas, and a bunch of insane fans, its the same. Teams make their pick, move on to the next team. Very doable and needed in this current environment. Most teams are done with their prep work. Should be a go!
