gotta think places like the Dakotas, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho with super low population density are weeks, like 4-6 weeks or more behind the curve of having to worry about mass spread.

For example, California is still fully closed other than Indian reservation based casinos. So depending on various parts in the country, guests that are accustomed to a very short travel to play have been facing 1.5 hours ++ to the nearest houses.

This. If you live in a fukked up state like CA or CT you get what you deserve. Rest of the country is buzzing. I went to 2 different casinos just today. Had to cash in my comps they keep sending me.

Made a solo trip yesterday to Barona ... Terrible experience

Table games sucked with all the precautions... same for restaurants

Long lines/wait to play and eat

Left in one hour... but did win $90.00

Parx made basically the same amount of money last July as they did this July. So you are wrong once again which seems to be a consistent position in your life. On the other hand i would have been on your side with this one. Not saying they are losing a fortune but thinking no way they would make about the same. Some casinos are making more with this covid shit. Everyone is off work and has blow money cause of unemployment bonus and trump checks. Table minimums are up too. So whereas you had 7 people on a table betting $10 units pre covid, now you have 4 people playing same table game but the min bet is $100 now. So $400 a hand vs. $70 a hand before. I doubt they're losing on slots bc before not every slot was taken anyway. Now it's every other slot but the ones that are open are always full. I've seen lines of old people waiting to get on slot machines. Sportsbooks have more people than I've ever seen. It's like NFL Sunday everyday now. Lines on Wednesday afternoons to get to the window and all kiosks being used. Shits wild. Comps are unreal right now too. The higher min bets really got rid of all the trash that usually congregates at the $10 tables. All middle-class and rich people now.
