Its time for the Federal government to implement a plan to expand our health care capacity before the peak hits.

get the army corp of engineers and military personel out there transforming big empty places into temporary hospitals like we do in times of war.

China did a lot of shady shit to get their virus coraled quickly. but they also fukin built hospitals from the ground up in less than 2 weeks. I don't think we could do that here. But we could get some spaces set up for non corona patients that are not critical to relocate to and receive the lessser care that they need, freeing up hospital beds.

Exactly. Delivery or takeout is fine. If a restaurant doesn't offer it, they should just close for a bit.

I don't watch msnbc, but that's stupid. It is true that more TrumpTards think it's a hoax, but they will spread it to everyone. The virus doesn't discriminate, except against elderly and sick.

I've been faux isolated because of working from home, but I've also been out mostly in nature. PA closed all parks, including a 1700 acre park with no contact surfaces where people SHOULD be going. Yet grocery stores, gas stations , restaurants remain open, etc.

It's clear by the response, and speaking as someone who has a bachelors in Chemistry, and a minor in biology, it's a over blown response.

Let me explain.

If you are sick with a comprimised immunity, or over 60, or both. It's something to take "serious." You're odds are still low of dying even after contracting the virus, but it's higher.

We are absolutely being ridiculous. I'm not a conspriacy theorist, and fact based, and frankly, am going against all my progressive freaks on twitter losing their minds b/c most people don't know shit about science, which is sad. Another reason the world is catching up and we're raising and voting in morons on both sides of the isle.

I'll just leave a link here. Note, these VERY LOW percentages are not based on the entire population, but based on those very few who have caught the virus, which makes them miniscule for most of us.

I have no idea what TP has to do with it. My fellow Americans aren't the brightest bulbs in the bunch generally.

BTW. These stats are if you HAVE the virus. If we divided these numbers by the total population it would be almost nill.

The worst part is workers in service, retail, etc. workers that will lose out on money. Pence out here saying “don’t go to work but also don’t worry about a paycheck” this is all fuckin a game of numbers to most people. Trump wants breaks for random industries but not actual American workers? The second you think we’ll it only affects this demographicand how think how small it is, GG

Wow. Yes, there will almost certainly be more Republican voters who die than Democrats (and have been), but this obviously isn't the reasoning

Older people are more susceptible to illness, older people currently skew more Republican than Democrat. Gee that was a real hard puzzle to solve
