The leagues are cancelled it's done.. There is no revenue coming in now. That happened outside of the normal contract I would think.. "Act of God" type stuff.. I would think all pay checks going out are suspended too..

I don't know though? If they do get paid like normal then this is like a paid vacation like never before seen!!!

I don't believe they get paid unless the games are played, or ultimately canceled, the latter likely triggering an insurance payout.

Players get paid weekly during the season, and not at all in off season, at least that's how MILB was

Figured they’d get paid. Sucks for guys making the minimum, or in the G League, or on 10 day contracts, etc. Not so much the league min guys, as they sit on the bench and collect a check.

NBA has insurance in the contracts. NBA's insurance will pay for the rest of the contracts. Kinda like workman's compensation for pro athletes.
