NHL Network said most likely will be cancelled. Sucks because I've been circling a game on Friday for about 5 days now that I was gonna hammer to get some losses back...STL at home vs SJ. Then I was gonna take half of that and hammer STL vs Ottawa on Sunday.

I also have a large parlay with STL and kings tonight and caps tomorrow, looks like that will get reduced

I'm listening to sports radio right now these guys are saying their sources said the NHL will likely go with a reduced playoffs scenario. Then they started to speculate the first rounds could be a best of 3 or best of 5 scenario instead of best of 7. This is where I heard NHL was suspended about 30 mins before any other sources or anyone here posted about it. So I'd say it's pretty credible.

My guess from what I read.

There aint many games left so I doubt they will. If anything, they will go directly into the playoffs and depending on the timeline, they will play a full playoff schedule or a reduced best-of series.

If you guys read between the lines, some governors are saying any events over 250, 500, 1000 people banned until May 1st then reevaluate. So at that rate NHL would be a full month behind schedule. It's gonna be hard to make that up and that's best case scenario May 1st. What if this virus sticks around longer.

I think the season is over or at best they'll have to shorten the series until conf. finals. These guys don't wanna play until August then start next season a couple weeks later. It's in serious jeopardy. If it gets delayed past May 15th, they'll have to just cancel the season. Little room for error.
