Jimmy G is not that good. He is not elite to bring a team back on his own. Mahomes a big difference between the teams. When the Chiefs needed to come back Mahomes embraced it.

Shanahan played too conservative the whole game. Look at the end of the 1st half.

I am kind of with you on this. Their defense is good, not great and their offense leaves a lot to be desired. I can see them winning 9-10 games but definitely not a repeat of this year.

They tried to run but KC penetrated the line fairly quickly it seems on every play. They were just all over the place.
Jimmy G played crappy in 4th but man was he pressured non stop. No QB that has such little time to get out of his own way can do much.
SF just ran outta gas defensively in 4th. KC just had 2 many weapons and Damien killed them. Oh and they blatantly missed Jimmy G being tomahawk chopped in the head at least twice (once mahomes to be fair).
Also 49ers had a play clock violation that wasnt called they shouldve had another chance at another play, minus 5 yards back. Overall a very poorly officiated game.
But SF had it;it was their to lose, and they blew it.
That miracle 45 yard completion that was thrown up a mile and took like 5 seconds to fall and T. Hill was still WIDE open he had to slow down and catch it, and STILL no one was within 5 yards of him, that was play of the super bowl. This one stings. Regret not hedging out and taking KC @+220 live end of 3rd.
Even up 20-10 I knew they would lose (SF) if they didnt score 1 more TD; it was constantly an uneasy lead that never seemed unsurmountable, especially by KC.
