His rookie cards were a steal if you bought them all up early when the news first broke..

I have a friend that bought a dozen or more the minute he heard the news.. Sitting on them now.. Going up in price like a sky rocket as I type...

I fell asleep at the wheel on that.. Never crossed my mind to buy his cards up..

Smart. Those cards go up in value when an athlete retires or dies. Then they slowly comes back down to earth over time.

Considering Magic/Bird/Jordan/Shaq/Lebron rookie card investing after this all settles down after next year..

Just wrap them in protective plastic and lock em away in a safe and forget about them til each one dies off.. Like 100 cards each..
