    You think they all follow?

Every line pretty much trading lower than the open, again.

This is infuriating. This is going to send a message to our youth that it's okay to break the rules if you're doing so to honor dead people.

Spurs already did it yesterday, are they gonna do it again today with the Bulls?

Maybe it's just teams that haven't played yet.

Cleveland and Detroit haven't had a chance to do it, they didn't play yesterday.

Which is the same for pretty much everyone today.

So yeah we might see it in each game tonight too.

They should let the bulls do it, then take it the hole on their first.

First it's shot-clock violations, then traffic violations... next thing you know you're holding up the corner liquor store because you wanna pay homage to some dead jock. Where does it end? In some hotel clerk's butthole in the Rocky Mountains?

Breaking the rules is NOT okay. Period.

Eddy's right. They probably cancelled the Clippers/Lakers game Tues over riot concerns more than anything else.

As long it's done within a reasonable mourning time frame, I don't think charges will stick.

Kobe was a legend and the judicial system is obliged to treat infractions with leniency given the circumstance.

Looks like the team that wins the tip takes the 24 second and then the other team just takes an 8 second back court violation.

There was almost 300 points in the Hawks game.
There were a ton of points in the Portland game too.

There are 2880 seconds in a regulation NBA game.
24 seconds out of 2880 is insignificant.
                                  It’s about 0.83 percent.

Now they're just getting lazy. I think the team that wins the tip should score 24 unanswered points followed by 8 consecutive fouls, one of them being flagrant for good measure. Then the other team responds accordingly.

You can bet stuff like under 6 min and 3 min at some books. Also Portland ran a scam on Indiana last night. Pacers took two violations and Blazers only one.

                                                    FWIW, it's also 32 seconds.
OK, if you factor in the other 8 seconds that makes a total of 32 seconds lost in a regulation NBA game that’s 2880 seconds long. That’ll move the percentage from 0.83 up to 1.11 percent.

Another way to look at is on the average this season so far each team averages 104 possessions.
The one possession wasted by each team accounts for only less than one percent.

                                                    Still insignificant.

Yes you can bet under on the first quarter but those lines are adjusted downward already by the books.
It gets more difficult each and every day to gain an edge on the books.

Not for nothing the overs in the NBA last night went 4-2

Check out the monster totals in tonight’s games.
Three games are over 230 and the Bucks game is 240 flat.
                                                    Insane.
