Can the Pelicans make the playoffs?
"According to BPI, the Pelicans have played the most difficult schedule so far but have the 4th easiest schedule remaining. BPI gives the Pelicans an 11% chance to make the playoffs- that's before accounting for Zion Williamson's return."

Only 3 1/2 games out from the last playoff spot and Williamson makes his debut Thursday.

I say they can make it. But I am a huge homer....so...what do you knuckleheads think?

I would give them 10-12% chance but might be off by a smidgen.

      4th easiest schedule remaining.

      Williamson finally has his debut.

If they don't make it Gentry needs to be fired. I've been saying that for 2 years. No more excuses.

possibly as they aren't far out, however very unlikely. Only available spots are 7 & 8 for which they must topple OKC & Memphis - both of which are solid teams. If OKC decides to trade away pieces, Pelicans could make it a race w/ Spurs for the last spot

depends on trade market. Pels should be sellers.

If the Pelicans were in the East then yes..

Being that the Pelicans are in the West no chance..

Grizz will fade away. They only have 1 attack guard on the entire roster. Spurs are going to trade DeRozan surely... and the Thunder will trade Gallinari or Adams surely...

Pels are easily a playoff team if Williamson stays healthy. I expect he will fit in beautifully.

That would be great if pelicans get 8, possible Lakers and pelicans series would be fun

Grizzlies, Spurs, Suns, Pelicans, could really be any of them. Blazers too if they get Love

Grizzlies could actually be buyers at the deadline

Pels beat the Grizzlies yesterday in their house.

Pels host the Spurs tomorrow night. Williamson's return game... probably be on a 10min restriction

sure, but race to playoffs isn't h2h cs4. Unfortunately you guys have to play other teams as do Grizz. Memphis has won 4 of last 5 while Pelicans have 3 wins in last 5 games. Memphis is playing well and Ja Morant is a beast. I'm personally excited to see Zion play for you guys and hope he is able to stay healthy as that is an exciting team and the city deserves it. Best of luck!

On crap teams, players like Ball and others typically are looked up to, get playing time and that builds their confidence..

Ball on a Championship team today will again be nothing more then he was before in the Laker uniform.
