From the way this season is going it looks like any team can beat any other team. There is no powerhouse basketball squad from what I've seen. Wouldn't be surprised if the champ this year was a huge underdog going into the tourney.

That's what I thought too but Maryland outscores Penn State by 3 due to an idiotic foul by a Penn State player with 8 seconds left. As Maryland was down by 9 and only scored 1 more point than Penn State in the 2nd half, a dumb Penn State player went for the ball and fouled the Maryland player just as he started dribbling down the court. It was under his own basket.

So the Maryland player makes both free throws. Maryland loses by 7 but outscores Penn State by 3 in the 2nd half.
