Before I joined this forum way back in 2007, I was a player at oddsmaker.ag and sportsbook.com (not sure if they changed their domain name)...anyhow, long story short, I was a part of the sportsbook.com withdrawal delay one of the most epic threads in the history of SBR and I won $7,700 betting on MLB totals with oddsmaker.ag...anyhow, I cashed out my remaining balance of $2,200 in my sportsbook account and it took 3 months to get paid but I eventually did and I did two separate check payments of $4000 and $3700 with oddsmaker.ag and it took approximately 17 business days to get each check but I got them and they both cleared!..to be fair, I guess I was one of the lucky ones that didn't get screwed...needless to say, I logged on for shits and giggles and my account is still active!...and it's been 12 years since I last played with them...I'm just wondering how in the hell are they still in business with their "F" rating?..are players winning and getting paid?...Just curious if anyone else here patronizes an "F" book and gets paid without issues or any problems at all?
Has anyone ever played and been paid at an "F" rated book?

#3You need to ask:
Are you trying to win
Lunch money
Car payment
Car
House
If you are trying to win a car but have lost a house, of course an F Book will pay a car

#42007 anything goes.. I got bounced off a few books back then.. Accounts closed and couldn't even log back in.
Times are a little better today with the books.
I remember a book sent me coupons one time as a payout to square me up back then after closing my account.. I just laughed and moved on.. I was actually pissed off I can't lie.. I think it was for a $1300 payout and got coupon books in the mail after a few bounced checks were sent before that.
I was like I'm totally getting stiffed and getting bounced and I knew it... Shit happened back in the day..Comment -

Shit happened back in the day....I was like "no way in hell the bank will accept this"...well I took it to my bank, the cashier gave me the evil eye look but then deposited into my account...there was a 5 day hold put on it to make sure the funds were available and cleared...sure as hell, it did!...ditto for the $3,700 check...

#7Closest I got to an "F" book was WSEX, as I've always considered my unintentional escape from that place as my greatest "victory". I had at one point run up a 15K balance, right towards the very end of their reign as a reputable sportbook; Top notch reputation in fact. And then in a matter of weeks, through withdrawals, and some very fortunate arbs where my wagers on their site were the losing end, my balnce was pretty much at zero when the Blitzkrieg of Chaos began there.
I've never actually seen a book go from solid to catastrophic in such a short period of time. Fortunately when the "F" era arrived, and it arrived quickly, I was down to pennies there due to no other reason than good luck...Comment -

I've never actually seen a book go from solid to catastrophic in such a short period of time. Fortunately when the "F" era arrived, and it arrived quickly, I was down to pennies there due to no other reason than good luck......it boggles my mind how a lot of these so-called "F" books are still in operation and doing quite well...I would imagine if they were broke, didn't have funds, stiffed customers, etc. they would fold up shop and be disappear into the night...I was a part of the "Sportsbook.com withdrawal delay" ...one of the most epic threads in the history of this forum and I believe one of the first of the A+ books to nosedive into the D-F category almost instantly because of the very slow pay and several clients getting stiffed.
IMO, it was that thread that put SBR on the map in terms of popularity and a trusted source and website of grading books......and yes, then you have the WSEX and BetIslands fiasco's which were a lot a worse because they flat out stole money and closed shop with hundreds of thousands (maybe more) of customer funds...the funny thing is my account with oddsmaker is still active as is my $30 free play from 12 years ago!...
...first thing I said to myself, is how in the hell are they still in business and what their status quo is?...are they paying?...did they improve?...are players and customers still using them as a book?...I see they are still on the "F" list and that is basically what prompted this thread.

#9Thanks Manster...I'm quite confident in my belief that you recall the "Legends" fiasco as well? I'm a little fuzzy on the details now, but again I believe that was a book that went from A to F at Warp 07...Right around the time of your Sportsbook.com horror if memory serves...Comment -

#10good call, Stump...I totally forgot about Legends going belly up in no time flat...another one that we missed I think is SBGglobal or something like that?...they went from "A" status to "F" status at warp 8 as well before finally closing shop if I recall right...and remember the Pig?...that used to be an A+ book and one of my favorites!...whatever happened to them?...I think Heritage was formely "betjamaica" if I'm not mistaken and I would probably still be playing at Pinnacle if they accepted U.S. customers again!...Comment -

Legends and The Pig and Dimeplayer were under the same umbrella at some point. They were great shops back in the Neteller days.

#19It's imperative that you have multiple places to bet. That said, I've still never had to do business with an F rated book. It's just not necessary. There's a myriad of good ones available.Comment -

#22I've never had a problem getting paid by SBG and always within 48 hours. Bovada has taken 18 days to pay me before so why are they an A- book while SBG Global a D or F? I think these books pay for good ratings.Comment -
