"public", "everyone is on them"....sometime it just comes down to football. Iowa's three losses were against teams that were in the top 10 at the time. There only wins that were under 9 points came against #9 Minnesota (4), Purdue (6) and their rival Iowa (1). Sometimes folks over think things or think "its too square"...

Nebraska has lost four out of its last five by an average of 13.5 points. They have faced a rank team three times and only played a Wisconsin team coming off back to back games vs Ohio St and Iowa after their disappointing loss to Illinois.

Nebraska is fools gold, IMO.

Nearly played Huskers ML but Iowa has the goods to win a close one so took the +5.5. This game another motivation thing. It feels like Nebraska has been building for a big effort in a game like this.

iowa has beaten them the last two years and this year they have played four common opponents which resulted in iowa winning by a larger margin or losing (wisc) by a lesser margin in all four games. which is why iowa is favored on road here. there are easier games than this to decipher.

I'm on Iowa until I see that Nebraska is heading in the right direction. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that UCF would have better players than Nebraska. That time is now. Nebraska is at a talent deficit in the big 10. They need to go back to the big 12.

4-8 seasons last two years, had big hopes under Scott Frost to get back to Post Season football but been kind of disappointing this year. Coming into today at 5-6 it’s probably the biggest game in 3 years for the school and yes I think they’ve been building for it.
