Big bear - he's good but who have they played? Im not ready to proclaim this team as top dogs in the NFC. they have one of the top offensive minds in football and a really solid defense but Im not sold on Jimmy G quite yet.

Remember shanny made Matt Ryan a mvp. Very easy to play qb for this guy., watching the highlights of tonight and have yet to see a difficult throw he had to make? Looks like everyone was wide damn open. The initial 1st down they picked up on the last drive to salt game away was a pretty good throw into rather tight window. Everything else most any nfl qb could have done.

Nobody can be sold on him being “good” just yet. He hasn’t been asked to do a whole lot all year. His throws were mostly cake tonight. guarantee any the good teams they will see in playoffs will go out their way to put the game in his hands until he proves he can beat them.

Andy Dalton would be 8-0 with that team.

Garrpolo likes to take risks, against a top defense he's not going to get away with some of the throws he made tonight and has made often.

Like I said I didn’t see nothing but highlights tonight and what they showed damn near all the receivers were wide freakin open. Looked like he squeezed that initial 1st down on last drive into some traffic but the rest i could have made. I know his td/inf rate coming into tonight wasn’t good at all.
Seems like it be in teams best interest to take the run away and make him prove he can do it which I’m sure someone will. Not saying he can’t, I just Havnt seen enough of him to really know. Shanny such a good play caller, I’m assuming he prob as talented as Matt Ryan who he made a mvp!!

The Sanders addition was big too, if they get jucsyk and Staley back with Sanders you can't focus on little as much. I still don't trust their secondary, Sherman isn't young, but the offense is loaded.

Yea agree bout that, they needed a vet wr bad. The secondary gets so much protection front that nasty front it will take a elite oline to have a chance to really test them. Which obviously packers and saints (the other nfc front runners) have.

Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL. Jimmy Garoppolo is #2. Both the Patriots and 49ers are going undefeated going into the Super Bowl, setting up the most epic game of all time to determine the best football team in history.
See me in February.

49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo turns 28 today. After this season he’ll have three years left on his five-year contract. If SF earns a top playoff seed, would it make sense to sign him to an extension? It’s early, but might be wise to lower his future cap figures to help pay others.
