I don't, but a lot of people I play live poker with do. My guess is that it's easier for them because A) there's no close legal sportsbetting, B) they don't want the hassle of figuring out bitcoin and which online book to use, and C) it's what they've always done.

theres 2 books on the seafood dock i use . and 1 at car dealer , you can make bets all over the place . they all take cash , grocery or bitcoin gl

This question has been answered many times, most recently when sports betting in a lot of states was legalized, the answer quickly is:

1. Credit.
2. Hassle.
3. Tax reasons or tracking.

The benefits of not using locals are that post up is without sketchiness, pressure, changing of lines, lots of stuff locals try to do to take (more) advantage of you. You are more disciplined with having to make an effort to got bet and choose judiciously the games you should play each week or weekend, versus fire and give them more edge/ROI with a greater number of plays.

Lot of benefits. Don’t have to put money up front, get cash every week opposed to having it in a book where im far more likely just to keep playing and not cash out. Unfortunately it easy for me to find them to take my nfl action but rarely can keep one that wants to take the other sports I fire away at.

Every now and then.
My local has been working out of the same spot for 20 years.
More reliable than 90 percent of the offshore books, but most of my action is with A+ offshore books.

i once asked “Buzzy” if offshore was hurting his business.
He laughed and said “Hell no”

Lol. I have had a handful that told me they took everything then half way thru college hoops they start changing rules when I was attempting to middle every play at halftime!! Several stopped taking my mlb fast. They all be calling when nfl rolls around tho! Fukkin pricks!! Lol

Locals are the best. They have never ask for my gas or phone bill. When off shore did this to me, I said go f---- yourself. and never looked back. TUESDAY TO TUESDAY AND THE MONEY IS THERE. There is no waiting.
