SMU has gone over in every game this season. Houston is 4-2 Over in lined games. My concern is that Houston only scored 24 against lowly UConn last week and did not come close to covering. Have to pass on this game.

I honestly don't know much about Tune. Surely he's better than Holgersen though and Houston as a whole were probably looking ahead to this game which is why they played so poorly against woeful uconn

Tune good runner, not great passer. My fear here is despite the points smu puts up there gonna be a shitload of running in this game which isn’t exactly what i want in a mid 60s total.

Yea based on (coach) Holgersen's comments, I get the sense Tune has dual threat ability even though he's listed as a pro style QB. Tune coming off hamstring injury but Holgersen stressing he's moving well in practice which is a good sign for that.

Another thing is that Houston could be down two linebackers creating depth issues at a position they don't have many bodies to begin with (they play 4-2-5 defense). SMU loves to run the ball and and I can't see Houston stopping them

One thing that works against the over is that Houston plays really really slow pace. Still kind of like the over though

Zamir Kirven hurt his ankle before uconn game and didn't play. He's questionable today even though not on injury report. Terrance Edgeston has been hurt but was rushed back early against Uconn because of Zirven and just doesn't sound like Holgersen was happy about doing it. Seems he's banged up too and questionable.

Maybe not. I just looked at line history and see lot higher than that and it closing 65 or 65.5. Coulda swore I saw a 64.5 at one my books but might be mistaken. I didn’t have any interest so didn’t pay much attention.,
