    Do you Still Factor West Coast teams playing on East Coast @ 1:00pm Trend
    used to be a pretty good trend to tail a few years back, haven't tracked it the last few years.

    Apparently it was a decent trend for about 5-10 yrs (maybe 2000-08), but generally speaking there is no value in that angle. Of course, I'm sure the situation has not occurred often enough for there to be any statistical significance to support blindly supporting one side or another.

        found an article that has some more recent stats. Looks like there is still a small advantage to trend, but the linesmakers did adjust.

        Ben Rolfe takes a look at whether there is a trend of West Coast teams playing on the East Coast at 1 pm, before digging into the numbers a little deeper.
