About the thread: I will be tracking the record of the plays along with the units made or lost. I will be posting a thread like this daily around the morning Eastern Time with an up to date record. I will track the thread's (Excluding me) record, my record, and the combined record (Everyone including me). Reason being is that I am not the strongest, most confident capper for sports in general. If I were to recommend any plays of mine to follow, it'd be my MMA picks.
Goal of the thread: The goal is to minimize the amount of plays to your one most confident, gun to your head, pick. By doing this, it will hopefully lead to profit!
Rules: Post your pick at least 15 min (Although 14-10 min is fine too) before game time to give people time to follow.
How to bet/follow the picks: Bet within 10 min before the match starts on any given pick on this thread.
What happens if two people pick plays that conflict each other (e.g. Someone is on the Yankees, and someone else is on the A's
for today)? We would not bet on either team. Even if two people were on the Yankees and one on the A's.
How the units will be calculated: If the picks are favourites or anything - , we will be "risking to win 1 unit" on all picks (e.g. -200 = 2u to win 1u). If the picks are underdogs or anything + , we will be "risking 1 unit" on all picks (+200 = 1u to win 2u).
How will the odds be calculated? I will use the 10 min mark before the closing line to calculate the odds (Example: Baseball match starts at 7:05 pm, I will use the odds from 6:55 pm for the bet).
The bookie of choice for calculating the odds will be Pinnacle. If Pinnacle doesn't have the line for the match, I will use an alternative bookie (I will mention it down below if that's the case).
TL;DR: Just comment your 1 most confident/best pick of the day on this thread. I will create a daily thread around the morning, and will tally up the record by the end of the day.
