He got a game penalty for the chair throw and then quit on his own accord. Still insane. Wonder when the ATP is going to give him suspensions for this type of stuff and cursing out fans? He is big on their marketing campaign, but still, its not good for the sport even though I dont mind it - i find it funny. Regardless, its not what tennis is all about.

He was pissy the whole match. within the first couple games he started with the arguing/complaining. Yelling about playing right next to another court and the loudness. Since everything was postponed yesterday it looks as if they were playing on courts normally used for lower matches or doubles no one cares about. He never stopped yelling at the chair ump, at least once a game.

He was pissed on that last game because people were walking while he was serving, he had broken Ruud on his first serve, then lost his serve due to what he says was people walking around and the chair ump wasn't doing his job of telling people to stop moving. He seemed like he was finally fed up with having to play on that court with all the outside noise you wouldn't usually have to deal with.

Don't blame him for today, but guy is a clown.

that'd be wonderful, but then watch nick actually put up an effort and not serve underhand 3 times in a set.

He was also serving today while the ball girls were still standing up after grabbing the balls hit into net. he didn't give a penetrate one bit about the circumstances. others of course had to deal with it as well and haven't seen any complaints from them.

Btw that rule should be changed in tennis...it should require a complete match...injuries are commonplace in sports if the player gets hurt that's just an automatic loss even if ur up 6-0 5-0? Exactly...it would be like players lashing out at Palmer or Tiger...it wasn't til 1990 that a player made a million IN A SEASON...now they make more than that in a tournament...without Nadal/Federer who would even watch tennis...women's tennis on the other hand is watched for various other reasons

If the other top players acted like Kyrgios they wouldn't have any one watching

He's an idiot. I was watching the match. He was trying to lose the 2nd set tie breaker. Putting in next to zero effort. Ruud had a meltdown and Kyrgios somehow won, and Ruud even got broken first game in 3rd set. Kyrgios did not seem happy he was winning at all. I could see this coming from a mile away. This guy has mental problems or is a master fixer and has us all fooled.
