#248If it takes longer to reach the all in stage then you have more chances to accumulate chips with skill and have enough chips to not get KO'd in one hand. If we took your idea to the extreme then we might as well all start with 5 BB and finish the tournament in 10 minutes. Or how about a flipament? Those are done in 30 seconds.Comment -

#252Why wouldn't you like playing poker for less time with larger daily prizes? You guys make no sense. Use the less 30 minutes it takes to finish to bang your girlfriend or wife.Comment -

LOL I am SO sorry frank, but I do have to use the word "idiot" here on you!
Don't be an idiot about the "wasting time" thing dude!
Yes, SOMETIMES I might watch a tourney for a while from the rail and make comments on the hands.
But It's not like I hang around and make comments EVERY time after I get donked out!
And stop being an idiot and saying that it is "bashing" for me to make comments in the comment section about the wild donks that happen on all-ins! I have posted on here FIFTY FUKKIN TIMES that this 30 person SBR tournament bull-shit is a freakin hilarious joke to me and I LOVE cutting up about the wild-donks that happen on all-ins!
LOL It's not "bashing" it's not "whining" it's not "crying"!!
It is simply making comments about the poker hands (donks!) in the fukking comment section!
What the fuk do you think the comment section is for dumbass? IT IS THERE TO MAKE COMMENTS!
If you don't like it then DON'T read it!
But WHATEVER you do, DON'T make an idiot-hypocrite out of yourself and falsely call it "bashing" and THEN get on here and "bash" me for what you wrongly think is me "bashing" others!
LOL That makes you look ridiculously stupid Frank!Last edited by JoeCool20; 04-27-19, 06:06 PM.Comment -

Well Frank is far from "ridiculously stupid" and I'm sorry that I even had to post that!
But how many times have I said that this SBR poker shit is a hilarious joke to me and I am NOT "bitching" or "whining" or "bashing" anyone when I make comments about the poker hands in the comment section?
I think that I have said AT LEAST 50 fukking times that this shit is NOTHING more than SBR poker for points!
And IT IS A BIG FUKKING JOKE TO ME!
I LOVE watching and commenting about all the wild-ass freaking donks that happen on the all-ins!
It is HILARIOUS to me!
But even after I have said FIFTY FUKKING TIMES that this SBR poker shit is a hilarious joke to me, and I am NOT "bashing" anyone or "whining" I am just cutting up and having fun commenting about the wild donks, Frank gets on here and says I am "bashing" people!
And THAT IS "ridiculously stupid!" of him to do that!Last edited by JoeCool20; 04-27-19, 05:23 PM.Comment -

#261If it takes longer to reach the all in stage then you have more chances to accumulate chips with skill and have enough chips to not get KO'd in one hand. If we took your idea to the extreme then we might as well all start with 5 BB and finish the tournament in 10 minutes. Or how about a flipament? Those are done in 30 seconds.
Your post would have a TON of merit if there were only a FEW all-ins at the end of the tournament!
Then if you had "accumulated more chips through skill" it would really matter and count for something.
But if you have ever been at the final table in one of these 30 person things (or watched one from the rail) then you'd see that it is almost TOTALLY all-ins for the last 8 or 9 people. So even if you did "accumulate chips with skill", once you get to the final table it is going to start being all-ins OVER AND OVER until the winner is declared.
And in one of my other posts, I DID say why not give everybody 500 chips and make it a "super turbo" style tourney and get the shit over with even sooner! No matter how you slice it, in these 30 person "quick tourneys" it is going to end up being a "Shove fest" at the end anyway! So I don't care about dropping the chips from 1500 to 1000. Nor would I care if they made it "super turbo" with 500 starting chips!
If it is going to turn into a shove fest anyway, then what difference does it make how soon it becomes a shove fest?
It doesn't make any difference to me!Comment -

#262Six max will favor the online pros instead of the average joes you hope will come around more to the forum through this marketing.
However, this is a cheap way to gain experience in six max tournaments, something I have limited experience in, so I like it since its not huge stakes. Cheap way to learn the style vs online pros like Crusher.
No online pros playing sbr poker. This is a fact.Comment -

#270Any word on bumping the final qualifying # to 24 (instead of 18).
You can keep the payouts as before. Players #21-24 will just get nothing.Comment -

LOL how is that any different than it has always been with these 30 person quick tourneys?
When it becomes a shove fest with 6-8 people left, the winner is always the one who luck-donks in the most hands.
Nothing different with this 1000 chips format, it just comes down to "all in donk luck" a lot sooner!Last edited by JoeCool20; 04-29-19, 10:02 PM.Comment -

#278Cincy kid got 2nd in the 8 pm. Good start for him. Off to a good start. He said my "style" of being very patient and "picking my spots" very carefully won't work in this new format. LOL I never said I was going to play that way in this new 1000 chip format! In fact, I really would be "joeFool" if I played that way in this format!
Since I never play that way, and it certainly ain't "real poker" I am going to really enjoy the "wild gambling" style of just hitting the all in button every time I get 88 or a couple of face cards in the hole, and then see if I win the 50 50 gamble!!
But It never works out for me though! At least it seems that way to me! If I have the 88 against KQ, then somebody donks a K or Q on me and I lose! If I have the KQ against the 88, then I never donk the K or Q and I lose that way too! LOL
I don't know who on here thinks they are "good" at poker, nor do I know which ones that some of y'all think are "poker pros" on here, but I really am interested in seeing if the "same old people" that y'all think are "good" at poker will still make the final 18 in this new format!
Let's see if this new 1000 chip "half turbo" style takes a lot more skill out of it and it just makes it where the 18 qualifiers are just a random 18 players that got the luckiest in one month worth of "mini-turbo" style tourneys!
Or whether it will STILL be the "same old people" that make the final 18.Last edited by JoeCool20; 04-29-19, 10:27 PM.Comment -

#279LOL The "wild-ass 50 50 gambling" certainly didn't work for me tonight when I felt like I may as well start doing it.
I either got last place or close to it!
Not only do I NOT play poker to "gamble" and see how many coin flips I can win, because I rarely win them,
but I don't think I am that good at figuring out when I should or shouldn't do it either!Comment -
