College Hoops. New Mexico vs. Nevada 2 years ago. New Mexico was up 25 with 11 minutes left. New Mexico was up 11 with 58 seconds left. New Mexico lost in overtime. Haven't bet a New Mexico or Nevada game since.

Steelers -5 vs chargers in 2008

Steelers down 8-10 and drive to get a FG in last min and go up 11-10 but not enough to cover

Last play for San Deigo with 5 secs left

Polomalu picks up a lateral fumble and returns for a TD to put Steelers up 17-10

the scoreboard shows it like that

then during post game, with nothing from the refs... they just say. the score was actually 11-10 with no explanation

I can't remember the particulars (or maybe I don't want to) but about 10 years ago I had a a college football game for Northwestern to cover, at about -6. They were up a few, not enough to cover. With less than a minute left, their opponent threw an INT and the NW player ran it back a few yards to around midfield... and dropped to a knee. The offense then took an knee to end the game. The announcers were crowing about what a smart decision that was by the defender, but any other player from any other team (except for perhaps Ivy League teams) would have finished out the INT and ran it back.

I was at the bash for that one. Was already an epic trip with the run I had in craps and in poker.... That one was a low blow as I had about 800 on falcons, but nevertheless was still a great trip!

One of the worst I had was 2 days ago, I had Wolfsburg +1.5 and they conceded in 91' and 94', probably a 200/1 event. The worst was when I had Under 2.5 and there were 3 goals past 90'.

i bet 2000 on the magic against boston like 10 years ago they were covering the whole time except like the last 8 seconds lost 92-88 missed a 3 at the buzzer to make it worse which would have won the bet, up double digits most of the second half

i probably had worse beats but that was a huge bet for me
