Unbelievable the market valuation for Zion, dude had an effect on the line for sure.

Can't think of many players with that kind of effect on so many stats that can comprise a decent forecast.

While Duke has the other solid players, they may have been getting a little complacent gameplan wise.

Not only did it show in the line right after injury, but it may be the reason for some recent losses.

“Lucky to reach sweet 16” is a little extreme. They do have 3 dudes who gonna go top 5 in the draft and they have shown the ability to play some lock down d at times. Don’t get me wrong they could def draw a 8-9 seed who could beat them but they could also get good matchups and cakewalk to the elite 8.

I think their odds to win it are all out of whack and anyone taking them only getting +200/ 250ish is crazy. I don’t think they have any better a chance than the other top 7-8 teams who all in the 7 to 1 - 10 to 1 type range. (I have a LSU ticket at +7500 that I love!).

What gonna happen is duke gonna see a bunch of teams packing in zones and daring them to shoot, and that piss poor 3 point shooting exactly the reason it insane to consider them a huge favorite to cut down the nets imo.

At this point daring Duke to beat you from 3 seems to be the blueprint. Granted, they couldn't miss against Kentucky and Virginia but the overall body of work is they are vulnerable when they have off nights from the perimeter and the free throw line. Without Zion Duke won't go very far and even with him their inconsistent shooting could get them in trouble against a team that is able to limit their transition opportunities and also make their shots on offense. It will be interesting to see what Zion does but my guess is we haven't seen the last of him in a Duke uniform. If thats the case, Duke is probably a Final Four team but I don't think their as big of a lock to win it all as some people make them out to be.
