I looked up which college football teams held the #1 ranking for the whole season and it looks like it's only three.

2004 USC Trojans, 1999 Florida State Seminoles, and 1956 Oklahoma Sooners.

So, it's that difficult to achieve that feat.

Hopefully, 2018 Alabama doesn't get that honor.
