If u look back at BtC price history, I have to think the whales have choke points after moves of +/- 10%. Think about how many times there have been reverses, rinse + repeat.

Some volatile swings but when you zoom out, BTC has basically been sideways for the almost 2 months... and that's fine. Things are much better than they were at the start of the year....

Got an update on phone about an hour ago that Tezos was now available on Coinbase. CB effect took it from $1.60 to $1.97 in the following hour. Currently back down to $2.10. Fluctuation is insane but odds are in favor of a nice gain of at least 20% if you're content to just get in and out. That said Link doubled in price when it was launched so it could be much better. Whenever a new coin is listed on CB anymore if you have funds immediately available to convert to the new coin you can make cash quickly. Keep your Coinbase updates on!

Was going to use a portion to deposit elsewhere and withdraw the rest but thought I could wait until today but jeeez I should have known better after my history of getting burnt lol.

The fees are ridiculous. My 5098 dollars ended up being about 4979 after I sold and had it on its way to bank that’s fukin ridiculous.

I really take exceptions to bitcoin maximalist statements such as these. There is literally nothing special about bitcoin itself. It's the underlying blockchain concept that's revolutionary and that's not something that's unique to bitcoin- all other cryptocurrencies have it as well. Bitcoin just happened to be the first and that's truly where it's current "value" comes from.
