I finally ate the $1500+ i lost in 2hrs waiting on Coinbase to approve a payout and cashed out at around $8450 early yesterday.

Hate to be pessimistic but I just don't see it going back up anytime soon if at all.

I withdrew between $8400-$8500 week or so ago

Kind of like a futures be didn't want to keep the funds tied up too long as they were payout from books

Looks like I'll be making another withdraw beginning of next week so will be interesting as it is every time I withdraw lol

When we hit 16m total btc mined in late 2016, it was around the beginning of the bull run.

When we hit 17m total btc mined in early 2018, it was around the beginning of the fall from ~9k to ~3k.

Move over China, looks like Texas could take a decent share of the mining. One guy is betting 50 mil on it. It would be great for btc (if it works out) because having so much of the mining concentrated in China is probably not the best idea anyway lol.

Zuckerberg looked really bad in front of Congress discussing Libra most likely caused this drop. Google's break through in quantum computing didn't help the bitcoin price either.

That's kind of surprising considering they pulled no stops tearing Zuckerberg apart.

Once again watching a congressional hearing demonstrates what a poor set of elected officials we have. They interested in using hearings to make speeches hoping to create sound bytes that will be useful in their next election. They appear to have little interest in actually learning something. That's likely because they have little knowledge of the subject matter and don't want that to become obvious. Sad.

The idea Maxine Waters is even trying to slow this Facebook money down is ironic since I'd assume a significant portion of her own constituents lack bank accounts and that is the market FB wants to serve.

The FB could work if they struck deals w WalMart or McDonalds, etc to accept it.
