Could negative interest push Bitcoin to $100k?

That's Max Keiser's theory anyway, based on a Bloomberg article about the bond market where negative yields are destroying returns. Keiser believes central bankers will have to turn to Bitcoin to fulfill their need for hard money. "Central Banks will struggle to find enough gold to satisfy demand (even at $2,500 an ounce), so they will turn to Bitcoin to fulfill their need for Hard Money. Will this be the catalyst that drives BTC to Anthony Pompliano's $100k, 2021 target?" he tweeted.

People got wet when approaching 20k and couldn't hold their load. Domino'd like a MFer. Again, I'll say it a million times. You can't have a drop off like that... from 19.5 k.... to 3.2k. Just sit back and think about that for a second.

I think the key difference between that public FOMO run up to 20k, and this prediction is that this one is based on governments buying it as an alternative to gold.

Back that up with many news stories about Russia and China govts hoarding it over the last year, and this opinion seems to have validity to me.

The only thing we really know.... it can reach 19.5k and it can collapse to 3.2 k. A lot of margin for successful trading if you're patient.

But... to hold onto hoping for a retirement? It's not going to happen. Furthermore, by the time it ever reaches a point in which you do want to sell.... you're going to be taxed on it heavily. You can't hide a gain like that. Wish you could... but you can't. So, in all essence... it's exciting... by the reality is... you're losing hair over nothing.

How do we exclusively know Russia and China are in on this? Do you think this would be public information? All stories are based on rumors. Like I said... it was fascinating 2-3 years ago... everyone jumped on the train. I'll be a believer if it can break 20k and ride to 25k. That's when you know something is HOT. That's when you know to definitely hang on.

I don't know IF we'll ever see it though.

Shot, BtC has been so resilient off the dips. When it goes down, it doesn't stay down for long.

I can add one note. Have never seen this b4. Saw a Bitcoin ATM in gas station, just as if it was a regular ATM.

I wish someone would put a sane projection on future Bitcoin price. I've seen at least 3 Bitcoin projections which were pure conjecture.

Bitcoin is annoying during a downtrend, can’t find any seller willing to sell at market (which is part of the reason it has now risen from 9500 to 10000). Bitquick/wallofcoins no one selling for under 10300 before site’s fees, an outrageous premium. Now nothing 10500. During quick rises, people sell at market or less.

Obviously understand people not wanting to lose money, but wanted to deposit $200 for shits and giggles this week but not paying 8-10% fee to do so. $20 isn’t much but it’s the principal. Pay 10% just to gamble. If I win an all in bet, instead of $400 I only have $360 and it just compounds from there. Goal would be $200 to $500. If win, use the $300 for several football pools. If not, oh well. The 2 C notes in my wallet ready for said transaction since last Friday are a pain.

In the next 2 months DC will have sportsbetting and I’ll never have to worry about bitcoin, SARS reports, 1099-B for bullshit. Cash only. Stay under all IRS thresholds. Never deposit winnings, no paper trail, stay the fuk out of my gaming life. I can’t wait.
