This thread is completely wrong. Gamblers (the losing ones which is about 99%) are not cheap, they are just very bad with money and can't afford things most of the time. These gamblers are far from cheap when they win or have money because they are very bad with money. When these guys hit big once in a while or go on lucky streak, they will almost always over tip and if they manage to cash out they would end up overspending on extravaganzas.
Now the 1 % who wins are grinders and are very good with money. These are the ones that you can label as cheap. They will try to find value in everything from lines (odds) to what they buy in terms of goods and services. And these guys also tip very small even if they hit it big.
Moral of the post is that the 1% are the ones doing it right.Comment -
Lmao it actually makes it easier for me. I don’t ever take a bonus when depositing at a book.....loosing your ass makes it easy to blow large amounts on other shit and feel good about it...like hey just bought the wife a 500 dollar vacuum but it’s ok because I lost triple that on a first quarter total before lmao...Idk got to have money I guess to feel that way. I booked for decades and people are people, you can't stereotype them. Of course we have cheap gamblers, however, I personally know dozens if not scores of gamblers that are very very generous. I am one of them, and I would bet half the people on this forum are also very generous. Yes, you have bums, cheap people, cheaters and all types of deplorable gamblers but that is life. you know what might be an interesting study? I would predict that many of the people that disagree with JJ are pros and many that agree are not.
