Nevada books post 61st consecutive winning month
    I am shocked by that.

Every sports gambler I know is always worried about paying taxes on all their winnings.

For every guy worried about taxes there’s 10 who are late on the mortgage after going all in on the Patriots. Vegas laughs for the 61st time in a row.

Books not in the business of losing

If a book charges -110 on sides that means they are getting +110 on all bets.

How in the world can they lose with those kinds of edges

Even reduced juice is like stealing at +105

It has become that way, thats why I have transitioned to stocks, much better opportunities

Years ago sports were great, edges everywhere, then all the math guys came in and forced books to become sharper and more efficient

Interested in what happened 61 months ago for the loss.

We know they lost when the Giants upset the undefeated Patriots
They almost got hurt in June when the Golden Knights almost cashed on 500-1 Stanley Cup championship tickets.

                              Yep, I'm a math guy.
Today there is so much data out there to access that you couldn't get to 10-20 years ago.
I have to spend at least 2 hours a day in databases just to get an edge in baseball.

It's reported that 1 in 10 sports bettors turn a profit betting the games long term.

Their lines may have become sharper, but our access to information, replays has also gotten better. I can watch pretty much any tennis match in the world year round from Challenger level to grand slam and get a feel for certain players. That wasn't possible 10 years ago. Technology gives some edges back to bettor too. I think there are still angles to find, you might just need to adjust your approach and use what's available to you.

Bettors killed pre-season football or the end of MLB reg season?
2013 Tampa Rays were the money team.
They went 18-2 in in the middle of July, then finished the year going 10-2
Won the Wild Card game (upset the Indians), got knocked out by the World Series winner that year Boston Red Sox.

I can watch pretty much any tennis match in the world year round from Challenger level to grand slam and get a feel for certain players. That wasn't possible 10 years ago. Technology gives some edges back to bettor too. I think there are still angles to find, you might just need to adjust your approach and use what's available to you.
