It's outsourced to an outside contractor (just like thousands of other companies currently do, mine as well). Companies have to manufacture their goods in countries that have a cheap labor force. That is the way of the world. The local market dictates the demand. When countries like Korea and Taiwan raise minimum wage and legislate more labor laws, companies just urge their contractors to move to other countries with lower cost. Nike just happen to fall in the cross hairs of the public but this practice is done by thousands of other companies. Since 2005, Nike has actually a good record towards better work standards. They are one of the better companies in this area.
