I think this is going to really backfire.
We'll see in Jan when 4th quarter sales come out. They lost 3.5% in market cap after announcing this, then picked it back up (however that's just ahead of 3rd qtr earnings so irrelevant), I'd be surprised if there wasn't a 15% sell off in Oct/Nov and a $10billion + dollar loss here.
