This I agree with.. We can barely keep up with road repairs and inflated pensions out here.. Had to implement a gas tax at the pumps to help with road repairs.. Just sad..

Not surprising that our electrical grids are failing now as well even at Dodger Stadium.. This State is struggling mightily to pay the bills.. California has the strongest economy in the America which is the funny part.. State taxes aren't cheap either..

Liberal leadership rearing it's ugly head right now.. I won't even bring up our homeless problem and tent cities....

Still the funnest place in America to live as it has everything to do.. Near LA, you got the beach and just an hour and half drive in the other direction into the mountains you have snow.. Maybe the only place where you can go surfing and skiing/snow boarding in the same day just by driving in your car..

In LA, needless to say the night life for entertainment is like no where else in America.. Sports, music, arts, you name it you got it here almost nightly... Weather year round you really can't beat either...

California isn't a total wash yet when you consider all these things.

1) Earthquakes do suck but they only happen like every 20 years.. You just ride then out and duck for cover..

2) Fires and mudslides do suck but those only hit the people living up in the hills.. Not us city folk.. No biggie...

3) 100 degree heat happens in the valley's and inland, not if you live at the beach.. Again no biggie as it only happens a few weeks out of the year..

4) Radio active sea water not happening either, been to the beach and in the water almost every day in the past 2 weeks.. Ironically and to my surprise I could see my feet knee deep in the water, I don't ever remember seeing that since I was a little kid.. I really do think the Bay is getting cleaned up.. Shocking to see the water this clear in Santa Monica lately..

5) Traffic sucks you have a point.. Illegal immigration really sucks and just clogs up everything also.. Homeless problem is gross, English becoming a second language..

Still the good year round weather and the night life is the best out here in Cali, Boston can't touch it.. Chicks are hotter here too... Everyone is fit and healthy on the Westside..

If you are born and raised in Cali you really do not wanna experience 4 seasons of real weather every year, winter being the worst.. It's a total shock to the system..

I'll move to Florida when it's time.. Humidity, heat and bugs I won't like though... Spoiled like that
