Anyone here ever been to Gary,Indiana before?Kind of a scary place.I have relatives in Whiting which is close by and isn't much better.I was there visiting when Minnesota Twin Lymon Bostock was gunned down in a drive by in Gary.The people there especially when Michael Jackson grew up were making big salaries working in the thriving steel mills at the time.Why was the place a dump and so dangerous if people made good wages?The media and politicians make the excuse that people act nutso there because it's like a 3rd world economy then and now.
So what the hell was wrong with old man Jackson where he worked in a steel mill making good wages where they had rats in the house where Michael named one Ben and sang about it as his friend?No wonder why he had head problems the poor kid.That was a bad song through and through.Maybe top 10 of the worst songs to reach number 1 or whatever it did of all time.Lary Verne and Please Mr.Custer has to be the number 1 worst song ever followed by Terry Jacks,Seasons in the sun.I liked Jackson's 80's stuff so I'm not knitpicking.
